The YMCA Greater Joliet Area has teamed up with the Northern Illinois Food Bank to host a weekly food distribution at the YMCAs of the Galowich-Smith Family in Jolie. The Great Lakes Regional Food Network, and they want to help inform the Community about the pantry's efforts and the food needs in their region.

Parents and students are encouraged to turn onto Wiese-Allee and walk to the Way of the Cross, where staff are waiting to give them food. Students will be able to have breakfast and lunch at the Galowich-Smith Family CVJM in Jolie on Tuesday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to noon. The food served by the four junior high schools is provided by District 86, and meals can be picked up at all CVJM in the Joliet area on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10: 30 a.m., noon, and 3 p.m.

Children are encouraged to be in the car when picking up their meals, but if you are unable to pick them up, please call 815-577-4046. Meals will be collected from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday, March 14 at the Galowich-Smith family's CVJM in Jolie.
