My name is Joshua Bugby and my wife and I just came on staff here as Youth Pastors at Joliet First Assembly 3 months ago! My response to the very first review about our church not Holy Ghost filled was very shocking? As youth pastors I must say what you bring to the table with other believers is what we eat! The best way to be fired up, is to be that Accelerant that a Potential Fire lacks, In doing so we Add to what God brings our way. Charcoal however can be packaged differently, you can buy the bag that lights its self with less work, Or you can enjoy the Hard work in igniting a fire and finding the write substance that creates the fire with long lasting results! I believe that Jesus CRAVES the attention of all who thirst for more, But the facts are- Sometimes we are more worried about our image than our thirst level! I must say Your freedom level depends on your thirst level, and what you are thirsty for the most, will provide the answer to what Quenches what your looking

A church that believes it's more important to bring in souls in need, than just those that look good. Let God and the church take care of the conviction of dress once they are right with Jesus. A real blessing to me. I find the spirit resides in the people, not the building, and the people there are more spirit-filled than any church we visited before we made our home there. Christian values are displayed throughout, and visible in their warmth and love for members or visitors alike, not to mention their outstanding programs. The music praise is outstanding! It has drawn many youth into and kept them in the program, and puts life into the congregation! I thank God for this church. Visit the site!

The moment I walked in, the people treated me with kindness no matter what I wore. Thats a first for me. Even the people in Diamonds and Gold smiled at me. The service is not boring at all! I am used to falling asleep half way through church, but this pastor kept we awake, interested and involved with sheets of paper he passed out to everyone in the congregation. The music is great and non-traditional, which is a nice change. They like to keep everyone up to speed and have lots of programs for families, singles, and kids. I am now a regular attendee, and won't be changing that any time soon. PROS: the people, 3 services to choose from, programs, atmosphere CONS: None
